Tuition Reduction

Savings Plan

Pay the year’s tuition in August save $35 processing fee plus an additional $65 for a savings of $100. Subtract the amount from your first statement sent at the beginning of August. (We are looking into accepting credit cards for tuition).

TRIP – Tuition Reduction Incentive Plan

The following plans are in effect for the 2009-2010 shool year in an effort to help families with tuition:

• St. Rosalia Academy Scrip Program (% Varies towards tuition)
• St. Rosalia Academy Giant Eagle Program (3% towards tuition)
• St. Rosalia Academy Market Day Program (5% towards tuition)

Using the above programs, families may purchase the Scrip or Giant Eagle cards and will receive 3% for the Giant Eagle Program, 5% for Market Day purchases, and half of the indicated percent for any Scrip items purchased. These amounts will be credited to your tuition.

FOR EXAMPLE:

Giant Eagle $100 a week for 52 weeks 3% = $156

All Market Day orders will be 5% of your sale

For the Scrip Program, the percentage will be ˝ of the amount indicated on the order form.

FOR EXAMPLE:

• Pizza Hut – family gets 5% and school gets 4%
• Red Lobster/Olive Garden – family gets 5% and school gets 4%
• Lowes Cineplex – family gets 7% and school gets 6%

This can all add up over the course of a year and greatly benefit your tuition. It does take planning and asking others to consider purchasing the cards from us. • Families without children in school may designate your family as the recipient of the rebate.
• If all your tuition is paid in August, credit will be allocated to the following year’s tuition.
• Amounts will be credited to families in December and May statements. This includes any purchases from now to October 15th for the December statement and October 16th to March 15th each year.
